Mr. Murphy Isom, Jr. departed this earth on Friday, May 7, 2025, at the age of 88 years old. Mr. Isom was a long-time member of our church community who was actively engaged in church activities, including serving as an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, March 14, 2025, at 11:00 am at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, 13281 Highway 644, Vacherie LA 70090. Visitation for family and friends will be in church from 8:00 am until mass time. Praying of the rosary will be at 10:00 am. Interment in our parish mausoleum will follow mass. Father Robustiano Morgia, our parish priest, will be the celebrant for the mass and interment. Please join in extending prayers and condolences to his family members and friends.
