The roofing work on our Community Center is complete. The patio cover for the rear patio has been ordered. Mitigation work for the interior has been started. Once this has been complete, the interior work will begin. Decking and ice and water shield work began on the main portion of our church roof. This work will be completed in sections to ensure that the roof remains watertight throughout the process. Also, a crew is working inside the church attic to install additional bracing and hurricane straps. And a big step has been achieved -- the new slate shingles for our church arrived Thursday, October 31! Work will not begin in the interior of our church until all repairs to the roof are completed.
