We are so blessed to have such a beautiful and historic cemetery to honor our loved ones and church members who have died. And we are equally blessed to have a crew of dedicated individuals who maintain and keep our cemetery and mausoleum so lovely to honor those who are buried. These individuals do this year-round and especially in preparation for All Saints and All Souls Days to support our families and their visits to remember their loved ones who have passed. We also thank our dedicated family members who attend to their family burial sites. If you have not visited yet this year, please do so this weekend or during November. Everything is so lovely, and you'll likely meet others you've seen in a while. Thank you! to our church grounds crew: Daniel Fiffie, Mark Lumar, Keith Mathieu, Sr., and Tim Simon, Jr. We appreciate so much your hard work and dedication.

The roofing work on our Community Center is complete. The patio cover for the rear patio has been ordered. Mitigation work for the interior has been started. Once this has been complete, the interior work will begin.
Decking and ice and water shield work began on the main portion of our church roof. This work will be completed in sections to ensure that the roof remains watertight throughout the process. Also, a crew is working inside the church attic to install additional bracing and hurricane straps. And a big step has been achieved -- the new slate shingles for our church arrived Thursday, October 31! Work will not begin in the interior of our church until all repairs to the roof are completed.
Please remember to observe all parking and entrance restrictions and enter only through those designated gates. Thank you for your continued prayers and cooperation.

The Eucharistic Revival and the Blessing of the Mississippi River are part of a significant religious event known as the Fete-Dieu du Mississippi. Our local event starts in Baton Rouge on August 14 and ends in New Orleans on August 15. On August 15, the Eucharistic procession will include stops along the Mississippi River at St. Peter Church in Reserve and under the Hale Boggs bridge in Luling. Of particular note, the smallest of our three church bells (recently removed from our church tower) will be on the boat leading the procession and rung along with other bells to announce the procession down the river to New Orleans.
